The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the one of the most highly-anticipated games releasing in 2023. It is the sequel to the hugely successful Breath of the Wild, which won countless awards and received heaps of praise from various outlets and the gaming community alike.

Tears of the Kingdom aka Breath of the Wild 2 has a release date of 12th May 2023 and it will be released exclusively on the Nintendo Switch console. Link will have a new set of abilities for you to harness, and there's new open-world adventure across the land and skies of Hyrule for you to explore. If you want to play this game at launch, read on to find all the retailers issuing Tears of the Kingdom pre-orders.

Tears of the Kingdom pre-orders

The Nintendo Direct in February 2023 revealed a new Tears of the Kingdom trailer and confirmed there will be a Tears of the Kingdom Collector's Edition and new amiibo. The amiibo is now available to pre-order at Amazon UK. The Standard Edition will RRP for £59.99/$69.99, the Collector's Edition will cost a whopping £119.99/ $129.99 and the amiibo price is £29.95. Here are the retailers that are/ will be issuing pre-orders so far.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Collector's Edition

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Collector's Edition will include: a physical copy of the base game and an Iconart steel poster, Artbook, SteelBook, Pin set (includes four pins). We are still waiting for My Nintendo Store to go live with its pre-orders but you can register your interest for the Collector's Edition. Other retailers like Game, Smyths and ShopTo have started issuing pre-orders and may have more stock again soon.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Standard Edition

The Standard Edition will include the base copy only. Some retailers may offer pre-order bonuses but none are confirmed yet. The list below features physical copies only, but you can also pre-order Tears of the Kingdom via the Nintendo eShop. This month you can save 5 per cent on eShop credit via our pals' store at VG247. Make sure you're buying your vouchers in the correct currency, and pop in the code "VG247" at checkout. Once purchased, you can redeem the voucher codes on your eShop account to pre-order Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom pre-orders in the US

There’s a few places at which you’re able to pre-order the standard edition of Tears of the Kingdom from in the US. There are currently no retailers issuing pre-orders for collector's editions just yet but GameStop have a page ready for you to pre-order from. Keep checking back for more information.

Tears of the Kingdom amiibo

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom amiibo is currently available to pre-order at Amazon UK for £29.95. In the US, GameStop have a page ready for you to pre-order from. We'll update this section when we have more info.
